Meet the pastors and leaders who serve our house. From our founding roots in revival to our mission in the DMV today, our team is here to walk alongside you, pray with you, and help you grow in your journey with Christ.

Miriam Peñaloza

She received the Lord Jesus Christ in 1975 in Bolivia. She was ordained as a pastor in 2002 and, for 23 years, has served in various leadership roles, including Sunday School Director, Pastor of Young Adult Ministry, Director of the "Rosas de Acero" (Steel Roses) Women’s Ministry, and Director of the School of Worship and Dance. In 2020, she was appointed as the Senior Pastor of our church, Ekklesia USA.

Pastor Miriam is a powerful worship leader who guides the congregation into the presence of God with a strong prophetic anointing.

eduardo Lanchipa

He committed his life to the Lord on November 5, 1976, under the ministry of Julio César Ruibal. He attended the Ekklesia Boliviana church under the leadership of Pastor Carlos Peñaloza. He completed courses with "Youth with a Mission" (YWAM), where he felt a missionary calling that led him to serve in evangelism in Argentina for six years with the "Worldwide Missionary Movement."

In 1990, he moved to the United States, and in 1998, he joined the vision of Ekklesia USA, beginning his service as a leader. He was ordained as a pastor in 2004, joining the pastoral team of Ekklesia USA. In this role, he carries out various ministries, including teaching, preaching, counseling, and visiting the sick. In 2021, he was appointed as an Elder of the congregation. Pastor Eduardo Lanchipa and his wife, Mirta, are dearly loved members of our church family.

Luana Jauregui

She completed her studies in Architecture at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés and accepted Jesus into her heart in 1998. Later, she earned a technical degree in Leadership from Portland Bible College. She is a wife and mother of four children and one German Shepherd. In 2011, she was ordained as a Pastor-Prophet, joining the pastoral team of Ekklesia USA. In 2021, she was appointed as an Elder of the congregation. Pastor Luana has served the Lord with passion and faithfulness for over 20 years across various areas of ministry.

Israel Jauregui

He received Jesus into his heart at the age of 16 while volunteering at a children's camp. Over the following years, he served in children’s ministry as a Sunday school teacher, teaching children ages 7 to 13. He later began serving in the Ignite Ministry, participating in the core team, planning events, and teaching. In 2024, he was ordained as a pastor at Ekklesia USA, where he now pastors the youth, connects with families, leads weekly Bible studies, and provides mentorship and counseling to young people.
